ABC is ranked the 40th most influential lobbying effort in Washington by Fortune Magazine. We provide government affairs representation to our members at the local, state and national levels.
At the federal level, ABC's lobbying efforts are led by Vice-President of Government Affairs, Geoffrey Burr. He and his staff advocate ABC's position on issues like PLA's, Blacklisting, Salting, HMO Liability, Apprenticeship programs, Davis-Bacon and repeal of burdensome taxes.
Picture coming soon | In Idaho, the Inland Pacific ABC employs Jane Wittmeyer, principal of Wittmeyer and Associates, LLC. Wittmeyer is a proven leader with over 25 years of experience in public policy at the federal, state and regional levels. With 12 years of lobbying with the Idaho Legislature, her focus has been on business issues, taxes, transportation, natural resources and environmental issues. Jane has been an strong asset for the merit shop in Idaho's State Capitol. |
| In Washington State, the Inland Pacific ABC employs Cliff Webster, principal at Carney Badley Spellman, P.S. He was rated one of the top 10 “lobbyists to call to get things done” by Washington Law and Politics magazine. He received his undergraduate degree from Washington State University and his law degree from Gonzaga University. Mr. Webster is also the chairman of the Liability Reform Coalition (of which ABC is a member) and he was elected chairman of the State Capital Global Law Firm Group, a position of respect among lawyers and lobbyists worldwide. Cliff has lobbied for ABC since 1985.
