Announcing ABC / AGC Training Partnership!

The Inland Pacific Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors is thrilled to announce a training partnership with the Inland Northwest Associated General Contractors. 

If you are an IPC-ABC member in good-standing you will now be able to utilize apprenticeship programs at NWAGC. NWAGC is currently approved in the following trades: Carpentry, Construction Laborer, and Heavy Equipment.

Vertical Options Approved Apprenticeship Program

ABC is pleased to announce that our member Vertical Options in April 2015 had their Elevator Apprenticeship Program approved by the Washington State Apprenticeship & Training Council for the occupation of Elevator Constructor Mechanic. 

They are the very first independent elevator company in the history of Washington State to request and obtain this approval.

2015 ABC Legislative Conference

More than 400 ABC members went to Capitol Hill June 23-26 for ABC's 2015 Legislative Conference. The week was kicked off with the first annual Diversity & Inclusion Summit, which featured a lively discussion about supplier diversity within the construction industry. The event also included a Legislative Breakfast, which featured a panel discussion on key issues facing the industry and a day on the Hill where ABC members had the chance to meet with their representatives in the House and the Senate.

Donate to Hard Hats, Hammers, & Hotdogs Today

The annual Hard Hats, Hammers, and Hotdogs (H4) event is right around the corner. Our goal is to raise $1,000 in donation for this tremendous event. It would just take 20 members to donate $50 for us to reach that goal. 

Students from around North Idaho participate in the annual Hard Hats, Hammers and Hot Dogs each year.This event was developed to introduce students to careers in manufacturing, construction, natural resources and health care.
